Dear Industry Professional:
As 2009 draws to a close, we look back on a year that posed many challenges not only to industry and media but to the country as a whole. Certainly the current global economic recession affects us all as both business professionals and individual consumers. Administrative Eyecare and the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) recognize the importance of maximizing every dollar spent on marketing programs, particularly in a challenging economic environment. The decision to place advertising in a particular magazine must come with the confidence that the magazine is highly valued by its readers, and therefore that the advertisement will be noted by a substantial fraction of its circulation. Administrative Eyecare, the leading publication in ophthalmic practice management, offers its advertisers this opportunity.
A recent survey of our readership provided the following results:
• 92% of respondents read Administrative Eyecare regularly
• 69.3% of respondents circulate the magazine within their offices for others to read
• 80.2% of respondents find Administrative Eyecare the most useful vehicle for learning
about vendor products and services
Administrative Eyecare is an award-winning publication and a member benefit of ASOA. Focused on the business of ophthalmology, Administrative Eyecare consistently provides quality content that addresses topics critical to the practice administrator’s success.
In 2010, Administrative Eyecare will only be circulated to ASOA members and not to ASCRS members. Although the circulation is reduced in physical numbers, we believe that overall readership will remain high given the research indicating that the publication is frequently circulated within the member’s practice. Advertising rates have been reduced for 2010 to match the lowered circulation.
Additionally, Administrative Eyecare, as part of the family of ASCRS•ASOA publications, is offering incentives for earning bonus priority points in exchange for advertising in one of our publications. These priority points will be used to determine the booth selection order for preferred booth locations at the 2012 ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress. Programs are available for both current advertisers and advertisers who have not previously used ASCRS•ASOA publications in their marketing plans.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Should you have any questions regarding the following opportunities, please contact us at your convenience. We are dedicated to creating a program designed to best suit your marketing mix and budget.
